Tribute Show Setlist Inspiration
Hello! I am super excited to say I’m going to be doing a Billy Joel tribute show later this year. I’m a singer/pianist/songwriter in NYC, so as you might guess I am a huge Billy Joel fan haha. I am trying to mix in a decent amount of hits with my personal favorite tracks that might not be as popular. I have a little over an hour set so I want to do maybe 30 minutes of hits and 30 minutes of whatever else.
I’m wondering what songs y’all might consider the most popular/crowd-pleasing Billy Joel songs to fit into a 30 minute time slot. As for the other tunes, I’m definitely going to do All For Leyna, Get It Right The First Time, Zanzibar, Laura, Los Angelenos and Everybody Loves You Now. Let me know what you guys think!
