A poem for a fallen king, whom once may return

A poem for a fallen king, whom once may return

The Return of Defence Absolute

There was a time, in legends old,
When Defence Absolute stood proud and bold.
A shining perk, a sacred shield,
Yet now it stumbles on the battlefield.

The warriors laughed, the raiders jeered,
"Five percent? Is that what we feared?"
While mighty buffs and damage grew,
Defence Absolute just watched them through.

Forgotten deep in menus vast,
A relic of a distant past.
Its purple glow still softly burned,
Awaiting the day fortunes turned.

Then whispers spread across the land,
A patch note penned by fate's own hand.
The taverns roared, the guilds all cried,
"Has Defence Absolute finally arrived?"

No longer mocked, no longer weak,
The stat that none would ever seek
Rose from obscurity's cold embrace
To claim once more a worthy place.

The tanks stood taller, walls held fast,
Enemies shattered where once they passed.
And veterans smiled with knowing grins,
As Defence Absolute stacked the wins.

So raise your shields and sound the horn,
For greatness can again be born.
What once was useless, cast aside,
Returns today in restored pride.

All hail the stat the realm forgot—
The purple icon, mocked a lot.
Its journey proves through every test:

Even Defence Absolute deserves its quest.
