Hi guys, I'm in the market to purchase a used car as that's more budget effective.

I've been looking mostly on platforms like facebook market place as you avoid dealer fees. Keeping in mind all the scams going around nowadays.

What I see pop up, mostly, is the polo 6 tsi dsg.

I've driven a couple of these and it's a great ride so I'm considering getting one but from research I've done it seems these cars can have some cotly issues occurring such as mechatronic unit failures etc.

Just want to know if anyone has some expertise on this? Is it really that expensive to fix/maintain? Is it better then to opt for the manual or just look for something else completely?

Looking to spend around N$ 100 000.
