If entertainers literally sell their souls then why do they achieve different levels of success?
Let me set it straight I do believe that actors, artists and other entertainers are forced to do things they wouldn't agree on, as evidenced by the Epstein stuff earlier this year.
However what I don't understand about the literal interpretation of selling your soul is if all entertainers signed a pact with a literal Supernatural figure, then why isn't their success on the same level?
Let's make an example of Michael Jackson. He has the best selling album of all time with thriller selling 70 million copies. If he signed a demonic pact with Satan or a demon to achieve that then why have other artists not achieved the same?
What demon did Michael jackson negotiate with to have thriller as best selling album that elvis presley, the Beatles, Madonna, Beyonce and any other entertainer couldn't access?
What demon/Satan allowed Michael jackson to be the most famous person ever such that powerful people such as jeff bezos, elon musk cannot replicate or access?
If Michael jackson death occurred because the demonic contract is over, then why are some artists still alive? Look at Paul McCartney pushing 90 and is a billionaire.
This literal interpretation of selling your soul seems to have many holes in it.
