A visitor wanting to meet people

Salam everyone, I’m a 33M will be visiting Alkhobar next week for a few weeks and was looking to meet up people there. I’m interested in book clubs, networking events, board games, sports, psychology and everything in between. Also, I’m very interested in visiting Ithra and I was wondering if the library there is open for the public?

Thank you in advance!

[6 YoE, Manufacturing Engineer, CI professional, Melbourne, Australia]

I've been using this cv for over a year without any success, ratio of 920 applications to 2 interviews. I do have different variations for different roles ofc. I did speak with multiple career coaches/advisors and still no luck! Be brutally honest with me and feel free to dm for more info. Cheers!

14 months of “at this stage we have decided not to proceed forward with your application”

As you can read from the title I have been working on landing a job in the field of manufacturing engineering/consulting/procurement/continuous improvement for more than 14 months. After 920 applications I had only 2 interviews and 5 screening interviews. I did speak with 7 career advisors and nothing more than the usual advises: go out and network, reach out to people on linkedin, ask your circle, and four of those advisors suggested I change my name because I have a very ethnic name and last name.

A bit about my experience, I’m a manufacturing engineer with 6 years of experience running production lines in two completely different industries and in twodifferent countries one of them is Australia so I have the local knowledge. I’m currently doing my MBA part-time so that wouldn’t stop me from working full-time. I’m an Australian citizen and don’t need sponsorship. While I’m looking for a suitable job I pick up odd jobs in warehouses or other places. I need advice or guidance, not the generic ones I can get from AI. Yes I spoke with my university’s career advisors and they’re as good as any search engine and don’t give value.

I’m not expecting anything but this is just another attempt to make something happen. Thank you all.
