How on earth can Quantum suck this bad?

I had CenturyLink for the last 9 years. Insanely reliable. I think my IP changed a handful of times in 10 years, usually related to a storm. Quantum purchases it, and it just goes absolutely to trash. Our entire nation should already be embarrassed by the poor internet service we have. But to add insult to injury, the customer service is an absolute joke. Their lost password function does not even work, despite getting the bills to the same email. Their app is trash and does NOTHING useful. I assume if you are on their hardware it does something, but why in God's name would I trust the hardware of a company that can't even maintain reliable service? You can't even manage your own subscription in their app. I could vibe-code a better customer service app in 1 prompt.

What's even more insane is that there really is no other provider in Portland than Comcast, and the last time we had them their bandwidth limits were a total joke for a house full of kids. Now my IoT devices try and push out more than their bandwidth.

Anyway, mostly this is a vent since clearly leaving a review does nothing, because they know they monopolize the market and people have no other choices. AT&T, for a company that serves shareholders, you suck at doing that.
