Omg is it just me or is it still roasting? I’m struggling to clean the house and I just want to get on with it but I’m out of breath, sweating and dizzy 😭 everyone was so happy to see the back of the heatwave but honestly it still feels like one to me.. summer babies are not for the faint hearted!
Well.. I just feel like this pregnancy has been plagued with problem after problem. Baby is all snug as bug and growing well which is a blessing 😌
Since the 3rd trimester I’ve been thrown back in the deep end with ailments.
My iron levels were at 89Hb at 28 weeks, I have started treatment and had a repeat test yesterday and they’ve now dropped to 84Hb - I’ve not been able to walk anywhere without feeling like I’m going to faint, fab!
I was feeling like utter crap last week, and was only getting worse, oh yay it’s was a UTI. The antibiotics set off thrush, anticipated but still not great!
Had bump measured yesterday, he was off the chart. Went to growth scan today, he’s measuring in the 60th percentile, which is brilliant. But uh oh I have increased fluid. Cue the monitoring for GD.
3rd trimester is absolutely kicking my arse!

I am 30 weeks and on Friday I started taking antibiotics for a UTI. I had been feeling run down all week and it came back from the dip test that there’s definitely a UTI.
This weekend I have still been struggling with losing my breath and feeling faint so just overall crappy.
This morning I go to the toilet and there’s so much discharge, I was taken a back. But there’s a jelly like substance and it was slightly green in colour, it looked like snot.
Has anyone else had similar?
Pregnancy is not for the weak 😩
Edit: rang triage and they said it’s likely just thrush from the antibiotics. Although it’s unlike any thrush discharge I’ve had.
I’m 28wk+3 and I’m trying to put together some sort of meal plan for the week, but I am not a huge salad fan, I love flavour but honestly.. I cannot be bothered cooking, yesterday I had made sweet chilli chicken thighs with a lemon and dill potato salad and a corn salsa… I MELTED!
So I need some meal ideas please 🙏🏽
