Hi everyone, I have this new lawn on a house I’m building and I have no clue what I should do. It’s about a thousand square ft. I have nutsedge growing right now which I’m tackling but want to know what you all suggest I do and what lawn would be best/ cost effective. Should I just get St Augustine sod and call it a day with daily watering of course or is there a good seed to use that will produce nice results.

Do I pull as many as possible or keep them in? I have a brand new yard in Houston and deciding between laying st Augustine sod or using Bermuda grass. I can’t really decide.
