Tips Belajar Bahasa Indonesia

Halo!

Terima kasih banyak!

Is it okay to apply for OPT in May if I plan to pay premium processing?

I know a lot of people advise you to apply for OPT around February or March, as the earlier you apply, the more likely you are to receive your EAD earlier.

However, I want to apply to Masters programs during my senior year, and only apply for OPT if I am not accepted into any programs.

If I intend on paying for premium processing, is it okay to apply for OPT in May?

How likely (or unlikely) is it for international students to find a job in Malaysia?

I'm considering transferring to Malaysia for university, but I'm wondering what the employment rates are like there for International students. I've tried searching it up, but I can't find a coherent answer, so I was wondering if anyone here knows, maybe based off of personal experience or stories?

For context, I'm considering Architecture at Taylor's University, and I'll definitely get a Masters if I commit to Malaysia. Currently my GPA is a 4.0 (currently enrolled in a US university). I don't know how that translates to Malaysian CGPA, but I've always been a good student in general (All A* in IGCSE / O Levels, and all A in US High School).

Is 19 too old to do foundation in Malaysia?

I’m currently a sophomore / second year university student in the US. With the new F1 visa rules, it’s looking very unlikely that I would be able to complete my studies there.

I’m 19, and have been considering moving to Malaysia and pursuing my education there. I’m hesitant because the University has confirmed that I can’t transfer my US credits (2 years of studies), meaning I would have to do foundation.

I would be 20 by the time I start university, 23 when I get my bachelors, and 25 when I get my masters.

Is this too old? Does anyone know what the average age of people in foundation is? Or how old people typically are when they earn their bachelor’s or master’s?

I’m just so shy and embarrassed to have to restart so late, especially because my younger friends are already in their first years of university.
