President's Day Wknd Skiing crowds?

Hello, thinking of a ski trip with my three kids over president's day weekend (mid Feb), How bad are the crowds at mont tremblant, compared with Colorado resorts or Deer Valley (where we usually ski), if anyone has experience with both? My kids would probably all do a day or two of ski school.

Also for accommodations, looking at the Fairmont (seems to be most popular but outdated?) versus Sommet des Neiges. Anything else to consider? Ski in ski out would be nice for ease in the mornings. We were not planning on renting a car if we were ski in/ski out, but is this a mistake and will we need a car for other things? We plan to ski 3/4 days and spend the other day exploring the village. Thank you!

Local familing visiting us at the breakers/colony hotel, palm Beach

Debating an early Sept trip to Palm Beach at either the breakers or colony hotel. My parents live in West Palm Beach. If they come to either of these hotels, is it a problem to have them come hang by the pool or the beach for an afternoon? I know both hotels would say no, but is anyone actually going to stop an elderly couple, one of whom uses a walker?

Cabs/Ubers available readily?

Hello, this is probably a silly question, but are cabs and Ubers available from the hills surrounding Florence to take us into the city center early in the morning (8am)ish? I want to book early Duomo tickets but as we will not have a car I want to make sure we have transportation.

How to to wait for response from concierge?

My husband and I are staying at Collegio alla querce (Auberge hotel) in July, and I emailed the concierge there maybe 5 days ago with some questions about the area and making reservations. I haven't heard anything back, and I followed up again a day or two ago. Still nothing. I'm feeling pretty surprised as in my experience high end hotels generally respond very quickly! But maybe I'm being overly sensitive and this sort of time lag is normal? I also don't want to be a pest!
