Red flag for EE major applying to MIT, Stanford, UCB, etc?
Is this a red flag? I had some family medical issues a couple weeks ago that I was managing during the Physics C AP test days and I think I might have gotten a 4 on mechanics. I got my USA Physics Team Invite a couple weeks ago and I just took Mechanics and I felt like my brain just wasn’t working how it usually does.
My counselors and physics teacher know about my personal situation and my counselor is mentioning it in my rec letters to clear up any questions AOs might have.
I know the invite is enough to show my passion for physics and dedication for it since I’m the only junior in my school allowed to take APPC(and I have A’s both semesters), but I’m worried that this bad day could make it seem like my invite was achieved unethically or raise similar red flags. Of course AP scores are not out yet but I’m just worried about this.
P.S E&M felt decent but that was prolly because the questions seemed easier than past tests
