two pairs i’ve had my eye on since they dropped, tbh these sale prices are probably what retail should look like for the 1890.

now if only i could find a vnds stone island pair for below retail. 🤔

finally made my first purchase from joe’s and couldn’t be happier. i had my eye on the 991v2 neo synthesis since it released in 2025. i loved them then, but just not $300 worth of love. thought i could find a vnds pair for cheaper but the worn resell market has been soft on them and i just never found my size on ebay or goat.

seen a pair in my size on joe’s and have heard so many great things about the site decided to take a new pair at the discounted rate.

was this pair on your radar in 2025? last year had some amazing v2’s imo, but this GR always caught my eye.

not sure if i’ve been “quiet quitting” sneakers, just being more selective where my dollars are spent, or half ass boycotting overpriced retail prices. i just know i’ve been buying less in 2026.

these 740’s were a must cop for me, the first pair i was genuinely excited for their release. i even set an alarm for them. what got me up for them was the price and the color-way, to me worth every cent.

these might not be for everyone (a lot of jjjjound haters out there) but tell me another 2026 collab for $130 that tops it… go ahead, i’ll wait.

i don’t typically suffer from “fomo” and when these v4’s dropped i didn’t feel especially like i had to have em (i rarely trust the kith filter). as people started getting them in hand though, i started seeing em on feet, fits put together with them… ik i had made a mistake on passing on the initial drop.

got to pick these up vnds and saved a bunch, but it got me wondering… what was the last sneaker you caught fomo over?

stopped at the malibu store today looking for some store exclusive shirts and found these instead. they also had a joy division “love will tear us apart”, a depeche mode “music for the masses”, and a “blue monday” new order one. just not in my size.

i asked if they were going to drop online they said they weren’t sure. if i click on my order in the app, the say “coming soon”

i’ve picked up far fewer pairs this year than last year, but i couldn’t say no to these. i passed on the ab, jfg, and stone island pairs, but the jjjjound black runner was just too clean imo.

regarding design, i love how sleek it is. the low profile toe box and no heavy layering, making it one of my favorite options this summer. i think of it more like an indoor soccer boot style or an alternative to the 204L (which always felt a little feminine to me).

drawback, would be the price point. just too expensive to have multiple pairs of this shoe in my collection. the quality of materials don’t match the price tag. i love my abzorb 2000’s but i have similar feelings towards price and materials with those as well.

if i can pick up the stone island pair for below retail or vnds, i’ll definitely get a second pair.

gotta say, i haven’t wanted to put a pair on this bad in a long time. the moment i unboxed them, they went straight to toe. this is my first pair of GPS’ and for the retail price of $110 i couldn’t be happier.

any idea if we’ll see a GPS archive restock?

EA went out today and figured, why not get my first pair of birkenstocks. but i have questions, how long does take to break a pair in? do they run TTS? anyone else pick these up? still considering the taupe amsterdam pair as well.

i’ve been looking for a navy pair of nb’s so when these kith 993’s turned up in my size at local shop, i traded in two pairs of worn nb’s for them and saved the cash.

2026 has been slow for me me, nothing really catching my “must have/soty” attention. i have a feeling i’m about to go on a 1890 run though, feeling the military green stone island pair, the jjjjound pair coming up is clean and wearable, packer has a nice linen color-way, and even the grey days pair looks nice. i feel like less is more with the 1890. that’s why the ab’s and jfg pairs didn’t catch my attention. what are your thoughts on the 1890?

finally managed to cop a pair for retail, thanks KITH for the random restock. just a clean, 90’s inspired adidas mid top is nothing like anything in my collection. just sprayed them with a suede protector and can’t wait to get them on foot.
