i literally can not start writing because a blank document is so overwhelming to me. no matter what i write down, i start overthinking and just end up not writing anything. does anyone else struggle with that? what do you do to help combat that fear?
hi im sorry if this was asked before but i just started watching mindhunter last night (about to start s1 epsiode 3) and i was kinda taken aback at the crime scene photo of the young boy in ep1. will there be more graphic crime scene photos of children like that? and if there is, is it super frequent? i rlly enjoy the show so far tho. thank you!!
im not sure if this is the right flair so im rlly sorry if it isnt!! but everytime i try to plan out a fic of mine, my brain just tells me that i shouldnt be writing or planing this hard bc its embarassing to care this much about fanfic. i dont rlly want to write my own original stories as writing has always been an outlet for all the creative ideas in my head. so i just write fanfic, or well try to...as soon as i rememeber im planning fanfic out i get embarassed and stop doing it. it rlly sucks bc like i said, fanfic is a way for me to get the distracting thoughts in my head out (adhd lol). has anyone else felt like this too?
edit: thank you for all the advice guys! i get overwhelmed rlly easily so im prob not going to reply to each comment, but i read through each one and i think i figured out why i find my fanfic hobby embarassing. not gonna into that on a fanfic subreddit but im srsly grateful for each comment <3
