My fiance and I get married in 43 days, I want to have a nice, delicious breakfast with him the morning after.

Preferably with delicious breakfast cocktails and/or coffees.

My FH and I booked a decently priced venue for our small reception (39 people including us, family only) and up until we got passed on to the event coordinator everything has been great. But obviously a sales rep wants to book so he’ll respond. It started in February, after we paid the deposit I sent an introduction email and asked some questions to the event coordinator after the sales rep had sent her contact information. No response. In March we were able to go view our reception and ceremony spot (we live 3-4 hours away so it was a weekend trip to see the venues and cake tasting), emailed the sales rep but he had a conference that week. He asked the EC if she’d show us around, and she responded to his CC and replied to me there.

We view the area, stayed at the hotel that weekend and enjoyed it all so much we cancelled our already booked Airbnb with a private hot tub & fire place to stay at their hotel on our wedding weekend. During our viewing she explained that she got our emails but had a family emergency happen around the time it was sent but said communication would be better.

March 24 I emailed and said the lodge was beautiful and asked a few questions. Got an automated email that she was out of office for the rest of the month.

April 6th. I email with a few more questions (and I know some of you may be thinking, damn bitch how many questions you got?? A few, I’m planning this with no help aside from FH lol) and correct something I said incorrectly in a previous email.

April 21st I send a follow up email.

Today I call and leave a voicemail.

I’m freaking annoyed. I need to know the answers so I can make sure I’m ordering the correct amount of decor pieces. We’re under 5 months out and things need to be bought. We paid for the space and we have heard nothing but AMAZING things about other events/weddings hosted there and it feels like we’re just being unprioritized because it’s a smaller event.

Anyways, I left a voicemail today so obviously need to give her an additional day or two to return that but on top of all the emails I’ve sent, I’m frustrated. I don’t know where else to really go or what to even say if she continues to not respond. This was a big rant but I would like some advice on how to go about this.
