Looking for 2/3 BHK for 3–6 months in Virajpet + scooter/small car leads

Hi everyone,

This is a slightly unconventional request, but I thought I’d try here since locals would probably know best.

I’m going to be spending the next few months in and around Virajpet while overseeing the construction of my house, so I’m looking for a place to rent for around 3–6 months.

Requirements:

  • 2 or 3 BHK
  • Around Virajpet (preferably towards Kaveri College)
  • Preferably a quiet place with decent road access and parking
  • Furnished or semi-furnished would be ideal, but open to anything practical

I’m also looking to buy a basic vehicle for local use during this period:

  • Scooter budget: under ₹30k
  • Or a small car like an Alto / Maruti 800 / similar budget-friendly car

If anyone has leads, knows someone renting out a house, or is selling a vehicle, please DM me or comment here.

Thanks in advance!

Saw a post here about cooking biryani together and it got me thinking.

A lot of people seemed interested, but the main issue was no one really had a place to host (PG/hostel struggles).

I stay in Bangalore and can host, so I was thinking of trying something slightly more structured—like a small “BLR Supper Club”.

Idea is simple: once a month, 6–8 people get together, pick a cuisine (biryani, Kerala food, Bengali, Andhra, etc.), and either cook together or have 1–2 people lead the cooking while everyone else just hangs out and eats.

Nothing commercial—just splitting groceries and keeping it chill. Maybe BYOB.

Goal is basically:

  • meet new people
  • eat proper home-style food from all over the country.
  • escape PG food for a night

If this sounds like something you’d actually show up for, drop a comment or DM.
If there’s enough interest, I’ll put together a small first group and take it from there.
