I remember that recently 2 episodes of "Star Wars Tales of the Underworld" and the music video for "Popular" were shown in Fortnite on their own special islands. Wouldn't it make sense to use an already existing mode for that matter? Maybe, Epic could use it more often, customise for different events, etc. so that it stays more alive and does attract people to watching some sponsored stuff, no?
First of all, in the original Chapter 1 the Zero Point was contained in the Vault under the Loot Lake that could be seen in the Unvaulting and the Final Showdown events and the whole Season X. We all know that. And we all know that... Oh, actually, here's a list:
If the OG mode exists, has the Loop and the Storm and Revin managed to get into the In-Between while floating above the Loot Lake, there must be something in the Vault. And the Zero Point seems to be hollow in the middle. Or is it? Let me introduce to you an egg
What if the Zero Point is like an egg with the Shards being the egg shell and that something in the middle being the yolk?
I know, there's nothing solid inside the Zero Point, only some sort of glowing energy, but what if the power holding the OG island together is the yolk?
The possible issue with my theory is that, well, the Dark Voyager managed to charge something between the Zero Shards last season using the Dark Harvester's beam buuuuut let's say that he only charged some leftover of the yolk with the beam while the real yolk is in the OG vault.
I mean, I doubt that the OG mode works the same way the Blitz Royale and Reloaded modes (some pocket realities which don't require any Zero Point parts in them to exist) do as it's as big as the Battle Royale mode and its Reality name is Reality Unknown. There must be something important inside the Vault and it might lead to an interesting scenario.
What if, after assembling the 7 Zero Shards we have in Reality 266, the Dark Voyager will take those shards to Reality Unknown during the Unvaulting event and put the Zero Point back together there? Zero Point leaving the main Battle Royale mode will remove the Loop and the Storm from that Reality and make the OG mode the main one after the Unvaulting event (which might be lame as that way we leave the Chapter 7 island too soon but hear me out). The Dark Voyager coming to the OG island to put the Zero Point back together THERE and basically giving The Last Reality data about the location of it will change the plot of the mode and create something bigger. Maybe, the OG island will get remixed, maybe mixed with the Chapter 7 island.
Instead of just scrapping the Chapter 7 island, the 7 Shards and the OG Yolk reunion could collapse both realities into the new Reality Zero. An updated Athena map combined with modern mechanics like rivers, but with the Dark Harvester or an alien mothership looming over the island. That'd be awesome, especially since we might even see the Imagined Order from the past fight with the Seven against The Last Reality.
Maybe, it's not yolk rather something else. But what if OG and Battle Royale collide after C7S2? What do you think of that?
