Hardly making any money
Hi ladies! I’m a cam model in my 40s, and my niche is natural, hairy, and pretty mild. I’ve been camming for about two years on CB and one year on BongaCams.
I’m working really hard, but I’m still not making much money, and I’m starting to wonder if I’m doing something wrong. I know that older women may not be as popular as girls in their 20s, but I don’t want to use that as an excuse—I’d really like to improve.
At the moment, I average around $2,000/month before tax on CB and about €200/month before tax on BongaCams. However, this month has been especially slow so far: I’ve only made around $600 on CB and €20 on BongaCams.
For those of you who are more experienced, do you have any advice on what I could change or improve? Things like my profile, room, shows, pricing, schedule, promotion, or the way I interact with viewers.
I’m open to honest feedback. I’m just wondering whether there are things I could be doing differently, or whether I simply need to accept that my age and looks limit how much I can earn.
