Gear gives me 20% gold interest, so I save it up. At first spend all my nitra, so as not to be slowed down when I get pickled nitra. Armor upgrades give me speed (and luck), so I get all the movement speed and armor upgrades I can, pretty much, from leveling up. Up until about 4k gold I only buy armor and movement speed upgrades at the store, then I start spending gold for other good upgrades. At 7k gold my gold interest is enough that I buy anything I can with gold, until I have less than 7k gold. Often that is when I'd have to pay 211 gold to reroll. Whenever I get pickled nitra, I keep my movement speed at above 200% at the end of a store shopping spree, and spend the rest of the nitra. That lets me run around and mine quick enough to get all the resources as well as (barely) outrun the monsters on level 25+.

At the end of this run I had well over a thousand nitra at 200% movement speed. Usually die at about level 26-27, and at the end of this run my poor 5700x/rx6600 had a hard time keeping up with all the creepy crawlies on the screen.

So yeah I started playing this game a couple of days ago. It's fun. But last night and today has not been that great, mainly because of people teaming up in solo storm mode.

I've had "squads" of 2-4 tramplers chasing me down game after game, and teams of people extraction camping, so I hardy think it's a temporary alliance or third party kind of thing.

I understand that there didn't use to be a Solo mode, and I don't know what it was like facing a squad on a trampler while trying to multitask your own solo. I've only played for a few days. But I feel like facing a squad that all have their own tramplers is probably worse, and they know you are alone. I don't care if I get ganked 1v1, I don't care if a third party shows up and ganks me after I win a fight, I just don't think there is much point to solo mode if you keep facing squads that all have their own tramplers. I don't care if there's an extraction camper, shit happens. But when I play solo mode and there are two or three of them cooperating at the extraction point, it's just griefing, and probably very profitable with very little risk.

I understand it's hard to fix technically, but maybe just ban teaming up in Solo mode all together, add a report function, and deal with people that obviously do it (multiple reports, queuing up at the same time with the same people repeatedly).

Or maybe I have it all wrong, I'm a noob, but the last couple of sessions of this has just been horrible for this particular reason, and makes me not want to play.
