Smaller artists

Many people complaining about artists they’re not familiar with but that’s the best way to discover new music. I’ve come across countless artists that i listen to today that i’ve never even heard of before attending previous flogs and other festivals. Flog has put me on willow, dominic fike back in 2019, wisp, let’s not forget billie did camp when she was still considered a random to a lot of people. I stumbled upon turnstile in a random tent with down time at coachella and been a fan ever since. Get out your comfort zone and expand your horizons.

Steve lacy is not a headliner..

I love steve lacy like everyone else but he is not a festival headliner/closer. He will have a sunset, 8, or 8:45 set at best. Yall be a lil TOO delusional when it comes to these festivals 😭.

Did anyone watch Khruangbin in 2024? One of my favorite sets ever, still think about it to this day. Shit felt and sounded like being in the best dream ever. I hope they return.🔥🔥🔥

I always see people so worked up over how many people in the crowd have their phones out to record and claim they are not “enjoying the moment”.

And yeah while it does look a bit dystopian i never understood how that affects your personal experience or the fun YOU should be having in the crowd.

I’m not one to record an entire set. I may get a couple short clips each set(if that) then put my phone away. But i don’t understand how other people doing the opposite takes away from how good the set i’m watching is.

Is it not possible to hold a phone up with one hand and still sing and live in the moment😭? Some people may genuinely enjoy looking back on those memories, some once in a lifetime.
