When upgrading Dark Energy level it increases a stat named Damage DOWN Offset. Does anyone know what it does exactly ?

Do yall get a bug with todays ads ? I keep getting the google sheets (or something) ad and it literally never gives the reward nor does it allow to leave the page so I have to close the game, all that for nothing because it doesnt consider the ad as seen.
