So after not being able to download any more books from Anna’s archive.pk for some reason I I tried using .gd but it wasn’t opening so then I tried using .gl and before using any type of website and downloading stuff from it I would usually check the safety of the website and when I did that with the .gl website it detected 1 out of 35 on a website called urlvoid.com I also pasted the website on virustotal and nordvpn and they both detected stuff too so I wanted to know if this is gonna be an issue, is gonna do something bad on my pc like get a virus or malware onto it or smth, i just wanted to know if this is safe to use and nothing is gonna hack me or smth i use the brave browser for this and like malwarebites. Have you guys gotten any issue with this website and how should I proceed with this thx.

When I try to download any type of book off of Anna’s archive.pk it starts downloading stays at 0% downloaded for a couple of seconds then says something went wrong then when I press the resume button to try again it just stays at 0% downloaded forever it just doesn’t start downloading. Did anyone experience this issue and do you know how to fix it

So I got my xteink x4 a few weeks ago and I’ve been loving it, when I got it I immediately flashed crossink onto it, but now I kinda want to try the crosspoint firmware. So can I just flash crosspoint on top of the crossink firware like can I just go to the flashing tool and flash crosspoint without need to do something with files or do I have to do something before flashing crosspoint. Thx in advance

After 2 weeks of waiting it finally came about 2 hours ago, I’m so happy that it came cause I really wanted to get back to reading again. Ngl I had no patience at all waiting for this device and at the same time I was very nervous that the screen would be broken and would have to wait another few weeks to get a new one but luckily it came perfectly nothing wrong with it except like a small scratch on the back Wich you can barely see and I won’t be returning it just because of that, other than that nothing else is wrong with it.

I ordered this device with a case, also I’m pretty sure because I used the mothers day code it came with a free case too so now ig I have a backup if something happens.

As soon as I got my x4 I flashed the crossink software as it adds a few extra features that I like, at first I was thinking of getting the crosspoint firmware but felt like wanting to track my reading was nice and also very minimalistic but not too much. I also added a few books like red rising and project Hail Mary onto my sd card but will probably from now on be sending books via wifi as it is more convenient to do. Before transferring my books over to my x4 I put it into calibre to convert it to a epub file and then took that file and optimized it with the epubkit then all I had to do is copy those books over to my sd card

Hopefully this device doesnt break in a few weeks and will mast me hopefully a few years

Also one more thing I bought the matte screen protectors and when looking at them they kinda looked non matte but when I installed it, it looked matte so idk if that’s just me.

Anything else I should do

So I bought my xteink x4 a week ago from the official xteink website and just now saw this developer edition listing on their website will that mean I’m getting a locked device or is it just another name for the xteink x4 so they can differentiate the AliExpress one and their own so there isn’t any confusion

Hello I’m getting my x4 in like a few days and was wondering if the crossink firmware lags at all, because if it does i might need to rethink on what firmware I’ll be flashing. I chose this firmware cause it’s very minimalistic has like reading trackers and just all the features crosspoint has but also adds a few.

Ummm I feel so dumb right now, I ordered the xteink x4 about 4 days ago and just now I realized I ordered the x3 case instead of the x4 and I don’t know what I should do. Should I order the x4 case right away or should I wait and return only the case and will that even work pls someone help me

So I ordered the xteink x4 on the 3rd of may on the official xteink website, and till know when I try to track my order it still says that they are preparing my items for shipping. I just can’t believe that they would take a whole 4 days to do that. I have contacted them like a day ago but haven’t gotten a response from them so I just wanted to know is this normal and btw I live in Canada so anyone else living in Canada had this happen and how did it take for your device to arrive. So I’m about to get my x4 and was just wondering on what I should do to my ebooks before transferring them to my x4 to get the best reading experience.

Hello everyone I have ordered my x4 and wanted to know what file type should I use to read books. What I mean by that is what file type is the best overall with everything you would ever need, thank you and have a nice day

So for more context I have recently ordered the x4 off of the official website as a fear of getting a locked device and then I started digging to find the best firmware to flash onto my x4. I have 3 firmwares that have caught my interest, the first one is ofc crosspoint it seems to be the most popular one, the second one is crossink I don’t know how that compares to crosspoint but it also seems to be very popular, and last but not least is vcodex witch I have seen as a pretty good firmware. Idk out these 3 what to pick as I have not tested these firmwares yet so I wanted to ask the community Wich one is the best out of the 3 and give me maybe some pros and cons of each one.
