Nelly bot from Discord said it has escalated my ticket to an agent, is this a good sign?

I was hacked on August 9, 2026. All because I fell victim to scams that claim to try out their "Minecraft Mod Pack" or "new game" to beta test it. (I was pretty stupid, I know)

But I had this Discord account for 9 years, and it was my first time experiencing my account being hacked. (This is not ideal) But I have sent more than 2 tickets requesting help that my account got hacked and how my email address associated with it got changed by a hacker because I was panicking since I never had this problem until recently. One of the tickets was waiting for my reply through email, so I did it on my alt Discord support account (using my personal email) because my original Discord support account was also hacked.

I sent enough proof of my ownership by sending the following:

- username on Discord

- Discord User ID

- when it was created (had that account for 9 years)

- email associated with my Discord account before it got changed by the hacker

- phone number associated with my Discord account

- nitro subscription on when I started and my bank account showing my transaction history with Discord nitro subscription (still ongoing), along with my bank account showing last digits of my debit card

- servers that I own

- servers that I joined (it's a lot)

After showing most proof to Nelly (the bot that pisses me off), it escalated to telling me that the ticket is going to be sent to someone who will look into the issues after I sent it by typing, "I'm unable to access the Discord Support account through my email associated with my Discord account," on August 11. Still haven't heard from them since.

I may have followed up with more information to that escalated account, showing them that I got messages from a hacker and that the hacker is still currently using my account to bait them into clicking or downloading their malicious links to others. (which I should've included on that day on August 11, before today)

In the meantime, I warned most of my friends that I have, outside of Discord, and most of them are aware of that, but some others were affected by it (which deepened my guilt even more). I have successfully changed all of my passwords to most accounts that I have outside of Discord, but not my Discord account. I removed malware on my laptop.

But I'm still waiting for Discord support to act quickly, and hopefully my account won't be deleted because I have read cases where their accounts were deleted after requesting a ticket that their accounts were hacked and that all of the memories there on Discord were deleted as a solution instead of recovering their accounts.

However, after everything that I have talked about... do you think that this escalating ticket is a good sign? To anyone who has been hacked like that and later recovered that account successfully here... I really want to know

Encountered my first-ever experience where my 6-7-year-old Discord account was hacked, and I am finding ways to appeal it to Discord right now.

Hello, this is my first post. I don't use this platform. I mostly just use it to look at memes, anime art, and Warhammer stuff. However, this is one of those situations where I have to go and make a post about it because I almost had a panic attack, all due to this hacker (based in Turkey) sending me threats and having all my socials besides my Discord.

Just know that my Discord user is "ShadxwWar" in the image, and the other one is my friend, but my account got hacked and is attempting to do some "Link Phishing."

"""

NOTE: Whatever happens right now, as soon as this is posted, will change over time, depending on my outcome right now, as I'm currently in extreme distress over this happening. Edited notes will appear after it's resolved, or not... (worst case scenario)

-------------

Chapter 1 - "How did it happen?"

So, it all started on August 9, when I had this message pop up from someone whom I barely remembered, but I do know that I added him before in one of the servers that I was in on Discord. His first message was "Hey, long time no see," and then I replied to him by saying "yeah, it was." (trying to give him a white lie because, in reality, I actually don't remember much about him at all). He would start to ask about me having Minecraft, and I only play on my console, but he proceeded to send me a link that leads to them saying, "Me and my friend are working on this school project about a game that we are making." Being a huge gamer and wanting to try 'beta-testing' some games that I get offered, I accept. I clicked on it through my laptop (the one that I'm currently typing all through right now), and it showed a game that looked "okay" but had potential.

What I didn't know was that it would later end up being a scam and a trap. It's like that what most people say about those who are very curious: "Curiosity killed the Cat." That's what happened to me, as I'm the 'cat' in the situation that I'm currently in.

-------------
Chapter 2 - "Info Compromisation"

Apparently, my Discord started to lag and proceeded to log me out. Realizing that this was me getting hacked. I know this because I was getting spammed messages on my Steam account, saying that he has all my socials and info that he has gotten access to. By the time that I was going to change my password and all that on Discord. The login system said that "the email does not exist" after I typed in my email associated with that only account that I have on Discord. And so I checked my Steam account, and all he sent me was all of my info, password, and all socials. My mind went completely blank, and I proceeded to report it to Steam and all the platforms that he got access to.

By the time I submitted my report on him, he kept on saying that

"bro just deal with me, reporting doesn't help the situation. I have all of your information, and I'm willing to delete your account and your Discord for good, if you pay me 300 dollars or so."

Following up with him, saying random insults about my mom and everything. I was panicking so hard that I immediately texted my gf, letting her know that my account on Discord was hacked. She automatically started being scared and made sure that the account that's compromised was not interacting with her Discord account by blocking it. And later, some of my friends encountered my account while I was panicking so hard at the time that one found out that it was hacked while the other accepted what I went through

The worst part is that my phone number was saved there on the email that was associated with the compromised Discord account. Even when I went to the Discord support page to write a ticket asking for help. I had to create a temp account (using my personal email instead of my gaming email that I use for Discord and such) for the support page because the account that I had there has that email too.

So, I would be glad to send you screenshots, but it isn't Discord-related, as most of it happened a lot through Steam, Instagram, and Emails. Except for two that were screenshots by one of my friends who encountered it and knew it was hacked. As you can see over there.

---------------

Chapter 3 - "The Aftermath"

The hacker (who lives in Turkey) has been asking me numerous times to send him money through Cash App and buy Bitcoin, and he will return my account (Discord specifically cuz all my accounts that he has managed to get are all saved due to me changing passwords, including two emails that he got access to). I remembered that when going through this situation like this, it's always best not to send them any money, which I did. So he kept on insisting, and afterwards, he deleted my Discord account (I believe)

I was trying to recover my Discord account through the support page, where they ask for a ticket for your request and get followed up with an automated message about it, and it pisses me off because I had to create the temp account for the support page. After all, my original one is associated with the Discord account that got hacked in the first place. Even so, whenever I try to log in with the email associated with it, it asks for a 2FA code, and the problem is that I don't think I got the backup codes either for it.

--------------

Conclusion:

I'm doing all I can right now to send all the information that I have on Discord team as soon as I get this post settled here, and if anyone has problems like this, just know that I fell victim to "Link Phishing." And I feel stupid for it. I will know next time that I will not fall into that crap again and not trust people whom I haven't talked to in ages and send weird messages like that. Ever. Again.

P.S. My Discord Account also has a Nitro subscription enabled, making it even worse for me.

About me right now:

I just finished typing this message while chatting with my friends and my gf, who were affected by it, and it is currently 4:20 AM EST. Stood up all night writing this, and I may or may not be sleeping after what just happened hours ago....
