I’m looking to become a first time dog owner, and am wondering if whippets are a good breed for me? I have cats at home and I work a normal 9-5 M-F job. I live in a house with a fenced yard most of the week, and 2-3 nights per week I stay in a small condo downtown, while my husband and my cats stay in the house. Will bringing in a whippet puppy be a wise, or at least not a stupid choice? Please share your honest opinions - thanks everyone!

I’m looking to become a first time dog owner and am seriously considering getting an iggy. But when I saw these 2 male iggys from the same litter I’m now thinking whether I should be getting both of them. I’m concerned that since I don’t have experience training or owning a dog, I won’t be able to effectively handle 2 iggy pups at the same time. Also I have cats in my household and I think getting both might be too much for my cats. Please help me figure out the pros and cons! The pups are around 5 months old. Thank you everyone!
