Who is your favorite manga character?

Is it someone you admire? Someone with awesome aesthetics? Someone you just vibe with? Let us know!

Our pick this week is Sasha Braus from Attack on Titan! 🍖 Sasha brings some much-needed humor and heart to an otherwise pretty brutal world, and her love of food has made her one of the series’ most memorable characters.

But who is YOUR favorite manga character? 👀

🌏Some manga characters look at the world around them and decide something needs to change.

Sometimes that means challenging discrimination, questioning traditions, fighting against an unfair system, advocating for people who aren't being heard, or simply refusing to accept the role society has chosen for them.

🩸In Devils’ Line, Tsukasa challenges the prejudice surrounding devils and believes that humans and devils can coexist. Her experiences lead her toward advocating for greater understanding and acceptance between the two.

🧙In Witch Hat Atelier, Coco grows up believing that magic belongs only to those born with it—until she discovers that the rules she has been taught aren't quite what they seem. Her journey forces her to question who those rules protect, who they exclude, and whether the world of magic has to remain the way it is.

And we've seen this theme throughout manga: characters like Light Yagami in Death Note or those in Fullmetal Alchemist have also challenged the worlds and systems around them—although their goals and methods can look very different. 👀

Sometimes a character's cause is admirable. Sometimes their methods are… questionable. And sometimes you understand why they want change while completely disagreeing with how they try to achieve it.

Which manga character challenged the world they were given?

What were they trying to change? Did you agree with what they stood for? And did you agree with how they went about it?

👇 Tell us the character and what they were fighting to change!

We've spent plenty of time appreciating Manta's men, so this week, we're giving the ladies their flowers. 💐

Which Manta woman is the ultimate girls' girl?

We're talking about the woman you'd actually want in your corner—the one who supports other women, has her friends' backs, gives the advice you NEED to hear, and absolutely will not let you embarrass yourself over a questionable man. 😂

She doesn't have to be the female lead, either! Side characters, sisters, friends, princesses—we want them all.

Who are you choosing, and what's the moment that earned her your vote? 👇

Bonus: Which Manta woman would you trust to give you relationship advice? 👀

Featured:
Princess Agnes - Under the Oak Tree
Lia - Falling for the Enemy
Madelyn - The Redemption of Earl Nottingham

Forget the green flags. Forget the red flags. Today, we're judging the wardrobe. 😂

Manta has given us plenty of male leads who know how to make an entrance—but who has the BEST style?

Are you going for:

✨ Elaborate royal fashion
🖤 Impeccably tailored suits
⚔️ Military uniforms
💎 Enough jewelry to bankrupt a small kingdom
🔥 Or an outfit that only works because he's the one wearing it?

Our contenders pictured above are Ishakan (Predatory Marriage), Rouche Berk (I've Become a True Villainess), and Archduke Cesare Karl Erzeth (Wicked Husband).

But you're not limited to these three!

Drop your best-dressed Manta male lead in the comments and tell us why he deserves the crown. 👑

Bonus: What's the ONE outfit from a Manta comic that lives rent-free in your head?

Every reader has that ONE character they know they probably shouldn't be defending.

Maybe they're a walking red flag. Maybe they're the villain. Maybe they've committed enough crimes to fill an entire season. Or maybe everyone else hates them and you're standing alone. 😭

Who is your Manta “HEAR ME OUT” character?

Drop the character and the comic they're from below—and then make your case.

⚠️ You will be judged by your fellow readers. Defend yourself accordingly. 😂

Damien - Betrayal of Dignity

Beomyoon - To Tread Into Darkness

"Minicat" - Prison Love

We're stealing pieces from Manta's manga men to create the ultimate ML. 👀

Choose characters from different Manta manga to fill each category:

🎨 Looks:
❤️ Personality:
🧠 Intelligence:
😂 Sense of humor:
🔥 Chemistry:
💚 Green-flag behavior:
💰 And because this is romance manga… wealth/status:

There's ONE rule: you can't use the same character twice.

Which Manta manga men are you combining to create the ultimate ML?

And more importantly… did you accidentally create a green flag, or an absolute menace? 😂

Itsuomi Nagi - A Sign of Affection

Yuichiro Shirouzu - honey bee and lemon balm

Owaru Endou - The Hitman Stans

Levi Ackerman - Attack on Titan

👑 Villainess Week + KADOKAWA Has Arrived! 💜

We're celebrating Villainess Week, and with KADOKAWA titles now joining Manta, the timing couldn't be better! ✨

Villainess manga comes in so many flavors.

👑 The misunderstood "villainess"
🔥 The revenge-seeking villainess
♟️ The calculating mastermind
💀 The genuinely terrible woman we somehow can't stop rooting for
😂 And, of course, the reincarnated villainess whose main objective is simply PLEASE DON'T LET ME DIE.

So we want to hear from our manga readers:

What kind of villainess story do you love most?

And even more importantly—who is your favorite manga villainess? Tell us what makes her great!

With new KADOKAWA titles to explore on Manta, this might also be the perfect week to discover a new favorite. 👀💜 (Cough... cough... free chapters!)

Drop your recommendations below, and remember to tag major spoilers!

👑 Weekly Discussion: It's Villainess Week! 💜

Scheming nobles, misunderstood antagonists, reincarnated troublemakers, revenge-seeking ladies, and women who have simply decided they've had ENOUGH. 👀

This week, we're celebrating one of our favorite comic character types: the villainess!

But not all villainesses are created equal. Some are calculating masterminds who are always ten steps ahead. Others are out for revenge. Some are only called "villains" because they refuse to play by everyone else's rules—and some are absolute disasters who are just trying to survive the story. 😂

So, villainess fans, we want to hear from you!

👑 What kind of villainess do you enjoy the most?
🔥 Do you prefer a true, unapologetically wicked villainess or a misunderstood one?
⚔️ Revenge-driven or focused on changing her fate?
💜 And most importantly: Who is your favorite villainess and why?

Drop your favorites below! Recommendations are absolutely encouraged—just remember to spoiler-tag any major plot details.

Welcome to Villainess Week! 👑💜

We've got some exciting news for manga readers—KADOKAWA titles are now available on Manta! 🎉

The new collection brings even more stories to explore, with plenty to look forward to for fans of romance, villainess stories, fantasy, and more.

We've highlighted five of the newly added series in the images above, but they're only a taste of what's joining the Manta manga library!

👀 Take a look and tell us—which of these titles catches your attention first?

If you've already read any of them elsewhere, we'd also love to hear your spoiler-free recommendations for readers deciding where to start.

Happy reading! 💜
