She is as DOLLED UP as she is going to get (within my budget) this year!
This is how I just changed my Cuzco Blue Anodized performance bars into RED ANODIZED Cuzco performance parts. (Because my car is red and I want to!)
#1 Purchase Gasket remover, which you will use as powder coat, original anodized paint remover. It's cheap and fast acting! (It's only takes 15 minutes to peel)
#2 Remove your painted parts and spray them liberally!
#3 scrape off pai t with a plastic card or scotch Brite pad.
#4 Reapply second coat because you'll have to!
#5 remove with s other Brite pad to get in the cracks
#6 Apply a final paint thinner coat if needed.
#7 Rinse parts
#8 Apply WD-40 to remove any oxidation using scotch bright pad
#9 admire shine or Reapply again.
#10 Apply Mothers Aluminum polish
#11 Admire shine, or Reapply until satisfied
#12 Apply your favorite color of Anodized high temp.
#13 Apply a minimum of 2 coats, probably 3 following instructions.
#14 Apply VHT High Temp engine enamel high gloss for shine and to protect from solvents or chipping
#15 Reassemble parts and admire your new Cuzco Anodized colored performance parts (will work on any part really!)
#16 Apply to your ride! (Im waiting for new threadlock-Flange bolts, so ignore the old ones sitting in place!)
ENJOY!
I hear my plastic panels creaking when I corner hard and fast around turn-abouts, also when rolling into my driveway at an angle when one when 1 rear wheel rises first before the other!
I do t want an expensive Apex that requires me to drill holes in my Series1. But will these do the trick?
