Hi.

•What is the schedule like for engineering?
•Normal hours?
•Weekends?
•OT? Flat rate?
•Foundational Training schedule for new hire?
•Dress code?
•Culture?

This if for a systems engineer role if that helps. Thanks.

Background Check Timeline?

Does anyone have an up-to-date average timeline on the Boeing portion of the background check? My report has already been sent to Boeing from Hireright.

FWIW I know Boeing is hiring a lot across the board right now so I suspect it could take a while, plus I had some discrepancies ofc. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I was ordered an "Employment Verification Plus" background check with Hireright. According to hireright's customer service, it is an up-to 30 business days background check where they must spend 30 business days trying to contact a previous employer directly. Only once the 30 business days are up, then they will use any other documents I provided if they couldn't reach my previous employer.

Has anyone had experience with this and had to go the full 30 business days?

According to Hireright, they can't reach my previous employer despite me providing 20 HR, management, and recruiter contacts across the org. I'm on business day 10 and so this will definitely run past my projected start date, especially if there is more time required for Boeing to process the background check once Hireright is done.

FWIW I have contacted Hireright a few times and they just say that they can't use my W2 until after 30 business days have passed.

Just wondering if anyone else experience this timeline. Thanks.
