Paid for Premium Processing, Got Regular Processing Instead?
It seems that many Premium Processing cases filed between December 2025 and April 2026 are now being treated as if they were regular processing cases.
When people call USCIS about their PP cases, they're often told there is no timeline and no estimate for when a decision will be made. If that's the case, what was the point of paying for Premium Processing?
At this stage, it feels like affected applicants may end up waiting until the normal processing time has passed and then consider filing a mandamus lawsuit if the hold is still not lifted.
The situation gives the impression that USCIS is trying to delay these cases as much as possible, while showing little concern for the uncertainty and stress imposed on applicants and their families.
Has anyone with a PP case from this period received a decision recently?
