Is it a carpet battle, German cockroach or a tawny/field roach? Or something else? It did fly but very low and short distance and could not maintain it. Believe it was already dying before I killed it. I will say it’s uncommon for roaches of this size to fly at all here in the DC area but idk since it was dying that may explain it.

I was born in San Diego California but permanently moved to the DMV area when I was in third grade. But apparently I don’t have a typical DC accent as many of my former customers routinely would ask me where I was from. I’ve heard many different accents attributed to the way I speak. California, Southern and Northeastern mostly. It actually drives me wild lol. So I’d figure I’d ask the experts.
