Potential Solo trip to Holiday World

I'm thinking of making my first visit to Holiday World a solo trip. The park and its rides look fantastic but it looks way more oriented toward families than parks like Cedar Point and Great America.

Has anybody ever visited Holiday World by themselves? I'm definitely going to try Splashing Safari as well; is there plenty to do in the waterpark for a solo rider?

Adding Kings Island to my Cedar Point Trip?

Hi!

My friend and I are planning a 2 day visit to Cedar Point from Chicago during the first week of August (Wednesday + Thursday). This will be our 2nd time visiting after an incredibly rushed 1-day visit last year. We plan on staying at the Express Hotel to take advantage of Early Entry.

I recently convinced him to get the Gold Pass and I was thinking of adding an extra day to visit KI for the first time since it’s the same distance from Chicago.

I was thinking of adding KI like this:

Day 1: Drive 4.5 hours from Chicago to KI -> arrive around 1pm -> stay until close -> sleep in Mason

Day 2: Drive 3-3.5 hours to Cedar Point -> arrive around 1pm -> stay until close -> sleep at Express Hotel

Day 3: Early Entry at 9am -> stay until 4pm -> drive 4.5 hours to Chicago

Compared to Cedar Point, is a visit to Kings Island worth it to bring up to my friend?  Also, does this rough plan seem a bit too rushed? We’ll probably buy 1 or 2 Single Use Fast Lanes at both parks to save time. Is 3 days a feasible plan to visit both parks?

Thank you :)
