Hype me up
Terrified to be riding Top thrill 2 soon. The tallest coaster I’ve ridden is fury 325 and the fact that TT2 is 100ft taller terrifies me lol. I want to get on it but I’m scared.
Edit: Got on it and it was amazing!!!! Thank you all!

Sharing my experience since I hadn't read about fast lane plus being significantly more expensive buying in person. I thought the only price difference was the online processing fee, but it was $175 at the frontier store vs $135 online ($125 + $10 processing).
Had trouble trying to purchase only fast lane plus online since I already had a ticket. I had to add park ticket to cart, then add fast lane plus, then remove park ticket.
Hi! We drove from Denver to CP and spent all day yesterday in the park. My husband was extremely worried about not fitting in the Millenium seatbelts. We took this trip in memory of his dad, who passed away a few years ago. Millennium was his dad's favorite ride, so we wanted to ride in his honor.
My husband is 5 ft 10, 280 lbs. He carries most of his weight in his lower tummy and back. We did the test seat, and he fit. It was a tight squeeze but doable, so we we went through the fast pass lane. When it was our turn, the attendant had to put his whole body weight into the buckle, but they got it without embarrassing him, and we successfully rode!
Later that day, we came back for a second ride, but this time, the seatbelt wouldn’t fit. We were seated near the middle of a yellow train. We explained to the manager (a very nice young man named Alejandro) that we had ridden earlier that day without any issues. Surprisingly, he listened to us and let us exit the ride and directed us to the line for the very back row instead. He said we needed to wait for the blue train specifically. He personally walked over with us and politely explained to the guests in line that we weren't line jumping. Once the blue car pulled up, Alejandro let us on, and sure enough, my husband was able to fit just like he had earlier.
Alejandro said some of the belts have been updated, and the back row of the blue car is one of them.
All of this to say, if you are nervous about fitting, ride the very last row of the blue train. Stay off the yellow train. And shout out to Alejandro for being a fantastic manager and making sure we were able to ride!!
From the few days I've spent at the park this season, the line jumpers are the "lost group members" trying to catch up with their group.
Yesterday, Siren's Curse, here comes three children about the age of 12-14 shoving their way up the line. NOPE. Me and my two friends stood in the way and reminded them that line jumping was cause for removal from the park. (Cue the whining.) "We're trying to catch up to our group!" Legit, their group was way up the line, but tough beans. Oh, and it get better. The adult chaperone from the group comes back DOWN the line to argue with us about letting the kids pass! We told that adult the group entire group could move back down the line to join their wayward party but in no way, shape, or form were those people jumping the line to join that group. Adult goes back up the line. A few minutes later the group is standing there waiting for the line to pass until their party caught up. As WE passed the adults in the group started harassing us in front of the children they were chaperoning, something about this is a school group yada yada yada. I told that adult "This ain't your school, you don't own the park, follow the rules" as I passed by their group.
What a summer THIS is gonna be. The worst was the adults defending and condoning line jumping.
It goes up a little past my wrist and restricts wrist, pinky, and ring finger movement.
Just got off Millie and though I’d give some people some hope.
I’m 6’4” 290 with a 42” waist. I tried the test seat and was able to snap the belt.
Rode back seat on the blue train. The seat on the ride had the same length seat belt as the test seat. Had an inch or two to spare. I felt the belt was the same as last year.
Just make sure to get as far back in the seat and as upright as possible. Then make sure you get the belt under your gut if you have one

Two rollbacks in the past 10 mins!
Are they doing anything for the 50 year anniversary? Do you think not doing anything means the coaster is on its last legs? I think a new coaster to replace it would be awesome but it would have to interact with the midway in a similar way as cs does now. What would you put there?
We have been hoping just to see one, but we were on the rollback train. It was awesome.
Gonna go buy a bunch of lottery tickets…. It’s our lucky day
Trying to settle a debate. 😂
Did Cedar Point ever have an aquatics show? With some research (minimal), I found things saying they had dolphins in 1980. I also remember the aquatic diving show in the stadium roughly where Wild Mouse is now. I don’t remember any other animal shows. Please, any and all memories appreciated.
ETA: Specifically, have there been any aquatic shows in the last 8-10 years? Still would like to hear memories before 2016.
I got a Gold Season pass for six flags great America and visited in late April, and am planning a visit to cedar point this weekend. I know that the pass works for admission to cedar point so I will not have to pay for that, but the website was not clear on whether it covered parking or not and just want to be prepared on how much to plan to spend (if I’ll have to pay for parking). Curious if anyone else has done the same or knows if the pass covers parking at CP or not. Thank you!
Last Friday, I made the 2.5 hour drive up to the best park in these United States of America, if not the world. The park was packed with teenagers for Senior Skip Day, but that was no problem. I went to the park to hang out with my buddy Tyler and meet up with a few members of Scream Queens Coaster Community.
The biggest highlight was…I GOT A ROLLBACK ON TT2! When we did the first launch, there was this small stutter in speed at the very beginning, but I thought, no big deal. But the launch backwards and especially the 3rd launch felt slower. Sure enough, we didn’t make it to the top and came speeding back down. The woman sitting next to me must have been extremely confused as to why I was so excited the coaster malfunctioned. We settled just past the staging area for about 10 minutes. Then we were brought forward to launch again.
Top Thrill 2 isn’t my number one coaster, but I think about this monster entirely too much. It is ALWAYS the first thing I want to ride.
Siren’s Curse is just as good as I remember. I never want a park to miss out on a coaster and I still don’t think Cedar Point needed another coaster, but I’m so glad we got it. Every coaster should have onboard audio.
Gemini broke down just as we were about to board, so we rode TT2 again.
I did go to Millennium Force to see if I could ride and I was able to buckle the seatbelt just fine. But I was about the limit. I’m glad they are getting the regular seatbelts back.
I am attempting to eat at every restaurant that offers a meal plan option at Cedar Point and Kings Island (because I always eat at the same places). This time, I went to The Grand Pavilion and had essentially fish and chips. I’m glad they improved their portions. Food was tasty, but they ran out of forks.
Can I also say that the Grand Pavilion has a frustrating set up? Like…why do they have doors to the seating area? I literally have food and a drink in my hands. They could at least install auto-open doors.
The park looks great. The operations are…improving. I am probably going to head back up in a few weeks for a solo day at the park. My goal is to run into the Happy Friar and the new park president with her litter grabber.
I’m pumped for this season.
It's going to be in the 50s both days and we're not familiar with what that feels like up at Cedar Point. We were not expecting temps this cool.
If I normally run hot, would pants or jeans be recommended or do you think I could get away with Shorts and long socks I can layer off if needed?
Edit: Thank you everyone, packing accordingly

I recently acquired this brass bell with a collection of other assorted bells. Does anyone know when this might have been made? I reverse image searched, and couldn’t find any similar souvenirs
What should I expect out of the event (ERT among other things)
i get they need to merge it for the lockers, but is there seriously NOT a better way they can lay it out?
