Bonus Bring-a-Friend Tickets
Did anyone else get 2 bonus bring-a-friend passes on their 2026 gold card (starting yesterday)?
I was just looking at my perks and we all have 2 bonus on our cards.

Final Fantasy IX Virtual Game Card in an Update Loop
I am new to the Switch, and with the current sale, I bought the virtual game card (VGC) for Final Fantasy IX (FFIX). I had used the physical game card from my local library previously. Other VGC's work fine (Final Fantasy VIII, for example, has no issues).
Once the VGC downloaded, it immediately said that "a software update is required. update data will be downloaded now.", however Nintendo support and the game's setting say "you are using the latest version of this software."
The only thing i can really find is that the physical game card is on version 1.0.1_6 and the VGC is on 1.0.1_5.
Has anyone seen this error before? Attaching images below for the pattern.
Additional Information:
Console - Nintendo Switch OLED
Console OS Version - 22.5.0
No MicroSD card inserted into the system
Problem began occurring 7/7/2026, after purchase.
