Ignorance is bliss, when you can afford it

After almost 24 hours, across 1800 miles, with an average MPG of 22, and my pockets feeling a little lighter. I can say with certainty, that the reliability concerns which have become synonymous with the badge failed to hold merit.
Within my first year of ownership, I have added over 20k miles to the odometer. It has seen snow peaks to sandy beaches, from pot holes to dirt roads, border crossing, and state lines, all of which it has done without a hitch. The M3 feels as if it balances the fine line between a perfect Grand Tourer, and wonderful canyon carver.
That doesn’t mean my experiences haven’t been without woe. There is a common saying which I was ignorant too; “expect to pay 10k” which has seemingly rang true.
