We've noticed an increase in "repost bots" in this sub and other subreddits, we ask you to help us out if you can and are willing to. Please feel free to increase the use of the repost sleuth bot, to send modmails with the link to the post and explanation of your findings, and to go to the bot's profile and report them to Reddit instead of just the sub so the Reddit Admins can look into it. Repost bots are basically account ran by bots (often very new accounts) that look up an old post and take its content (image, title, description, everything) and just paste it into a new post to karma farm to bypass minimum karma filters in less public subs and sometimes the karma farmed bot accounts get sold to people for a variety of unknown reasons. Please note though not all new accounts are instantly a repost bot or bot acc, but we will look into it and maybe even contact the account with an captcha image to verify. We hope to have properly informed you!

Dear Cosplayers,

We love all the content you're sharing here. Though there is something that needs to be addressed and to be established. We ask of you to not post your cosplay pics in here if your profile is full of NSFW postings and OnlyFans promotions in other subs, even if the content posted here is safe. This is to prevent users from getting their eyes bombarded by NSFW content when they choose to check out a cosplayers' page for more safe for work cosplays and then immediately get met with lots of overly NSFW content as well as this subreddit risking a permanent NSFW marking as a whole by Reddit Admins (this has happened to a few other subs in the past where no NSFW was posted, Reddit Admins communicating it was because of the "users".) We will try and remove posts from here on out if we notice this happening.

We also ask all members of this sub's community to not point out people's NSFW content and OnlyFans even if they didn't directly mentioned it in the post, in such cases you yourself are specifically promoting their NSFW socials and bringing attention to it; instead: send us a modmail with the post's link and a bit of a descriptive text about what's going on. NSFW reportings are sometimes met with just checking if the post itself is NSFW.

Also I hope everyone can be patient with us, reports are being handled but sometimes slow; we are still looking into new possibilities for mod additions and to create a wider team with more activity across a variety of timezones.
