I’m looking to take comp 210 as a visiting student with athabasca. I’m just wondering if I take this course typically how long after the completion of the course is the final grade uploaded to my transcript? I missed the date to sign up for the September start date so I will have to start in October. However I am applying to transfer programs and want this on my transcript as a gpa booster and applications open in October. I’ve heard this is a very easy class and I’m hoping to complete it quickly so I can have it count in my transfer gpa. Thanks!

Has anyone taken CORE 205 with Gregor Wolbring? I’m looking at his rate my prof and people are saying that his instructions for a project worth a decent chunk of your grade is unclear and confusing. Is the whole course super confusing? Is it still difficult to achieve a high mark in his course? Just looking for more info!

I’m going into my second year in the fall and I’m wondering how difficult it is to achieve high marks in the 300 level PSYC classes? I’m more specifically worried about PSYC 300 and 301 as I’m bad at math.

Also, if anyone has taken the following classes and can let me know what the course difficulty was like that would be great!

PSYC 345, 375, 365, 352

If there are any easy PSYC 300 level recommendations please let me know!

Hey! I’m currently completing my first year of undergrad and am just wondering what type of experience has gotten people in for slp school? Currently I volunteer at a disability services and support organization and hope to gain more experience in the future years. I just want to be properly prepared for the type of experience I should be gathering!

I’m looking to enroll in a easy gpa booster as a visiting student. I’ve been suggested comp 210 as it has no essays or finals, just assignments. I’m someone with pretty basic computer knowledge. I only really use my laptop to take notes and do school work but I do like to consider myself a fast learner. How hard would this course be for a beginner in tech?

How hard is psyc 300 and 301? Is it somewhat manageable to get a good gpa in these classes? I’m not the best at math and I saw that psyc 301 has statistics in it so I’m kinda worried about doing good in these courses!

Hey guys! I see everyone saying that open studies to degree pipeline is not a good idea and it’s kind of freaking me out so I wanted to come on here and ask if I still have a chance of getting into psych fall 2027. I was previously in bio sci for fall 2025 at u of a. Winter 2026 I had to drop my classes due to some health problems, I moved back home to stay with my family and take care of my health. During this time I decided i wanted to pursue a degree in psyc however I missed the deadline for applying to a new program a uofc which is where I wanna go so I was advised to transfer into open studies starting spring 2026 so I can still take my required psych courses plus some gpa boosters and then apply for psych 2027 when application open (Oct 1). I’ve seen people talking on here about how it’s a bad idea to pursue this path but I was advised by advising that this is the best path for me currently. Right now I have a gpa of about a 3.5. I’m aware this isn’t quite competitor for bio sci but I am enrolled in some gpa boosters in spring and summer and planning on taking more in the fall. I hope to have around a 3.7-3.8. Do I have a chance of getting in? Sorry for the long post!

Has anyone taken RELS 205 with Laura Jurgens? She has a pretty low rate my prof rating (2.2) but I know that all the tests and final are open book + online and apparently pretty easy. I’m trying to take this class as a gpa booster so just wondering if it’s worth my time?
