N400 Crisis

I want to understand how does citizenship go for lprs with a history of bad travel pattern.

A guy has 6 years of coming in and going out of US every year like from 2019 to 2025 he would come in US for a month and then would go outside for the rest of the year.

He was a minor during all that bad travel like under 18. He turned 18 in 2025 and then moved permanently to US has started his life from zero but now is worried for citizenship.

He also remained outside for more than a year but was let in by CBP in 2021. 1 year and 5 months outside. He was 15 years old at that time.

He is worried if he applies for citizenship after 5 years of continuous stay then his old travel would pull up and he would get denied and then would eventually gets an NTA and then game over.

Extremely stressed having panic attacks on daily basis due to this childish mistake he did. Reason was he didn't get to choose where he wants to live even though he wanted to be in US and was forced to do highschool outside of US because noone was willing to support him financially as a minor.

He has a life in US now. Pay taxes, go to college, working Jobs. And is considering joining the army.

His lawyer said to remain 5 years of book example of LPR and then apply for citizenship. Plus collect ties of US to show it at the time of citizenship.

Citizenship issues.

Does having a Terrible travel history as a green card holder affect your citizenship in future even if it is outside of the statutory period of citizenship.

By terrible travel history I mean visiting US only for 1 -2 weeks in a year and spending the rest of the time outside.

It all ended 2 years ago and since then I have been permanent. I talked to an immigration lawyer and he said as long as you remain in US for 5 years and dont disrupt your continuous residence now and fulfill all other criteria like taxes and stuff plus no crimes. Then your good to go for citizenship.

I'm asking has anyone been in this situation or should I get advice from another lawyer as well.

All of the terrible travel happened when I was a minor and since turning 18 have become permanent and pay taxes and everything in here now.

I think I have started balding.

First pic is without haircut and 2 nd pic is with hair cut.

I also have been in constant too much stress because of my engineering classes.

So should I start on Finasteride right?

Thanks so much. M20 btw

Lpr returned after 1 year and 8 months.

I overstayed For 1 year and 8 months but was let in by CBP at the port of entry. He questioned me a lot but eventually let me in. My reason was Finals Exams and no flight available at that time because of the War in Middle East. Yeah, I'm from there. Other than that I had to ties in US as I was studying In Middle East. Only My Grandpa and Uncle and Aunt lives here. They are citizens.

So my question is what should I do now to be on a smooth trail to citizenship?

It's my first post . Thanks so much
