They start touring on June 3rd with mastodon and etc which could imply a new single on that day? I couldn't find anything in regards to the song lists for those live concerts although don't know where to look and if you guys have any idea you can prove me wrong but june 3rd might be a date to look out for as they're kicking off that tour and it would spike viewership, clock in more pre orders for the vinyl and merchandise (from a marketing standpoint that is) and pattern recognition of the the prior singles they released from ILIIAITE went two heavier songs (though faces in the dark had a contrast between heavy and soft) the same way revenant is a wall of noise only heavy beatdown song and GES has a contrast between soft and heavy so mabye just mabye they'll release a single that's fully melodic and soft like the two way mirror of the album and again this is all just a patterned guess it would be a smart move to showcase the full dynamic of the album and give listeners a better idea of what ASTY will sound like, BUT I'm NOT loathe and I'm NOT saying any of this will happen just to clarify but late may to early June (specifically 3rd) would be something to watch out for mabye because the pacing will keep fans on their toes and wanting more (though music is subjective who knows how it's received) without just absolutely going cold turkey and not releasing anything until the album is released which would he super unusual though bold and some people would probably lose interest as well as not getting as much money from pre orders and etc that's just my prediction from a logistics standpoint and pattern recognition not saying this will happen I wouldn't rely on being hyped for June 3rd to be a single day just a prediction curious to see what you all might think

IMO, I'm super curious and stoked to see how this album goes, but the general consensus among fans seems to be that loathe albums literally always top each other, for instance:

ILIIAITE>COLD SUN>PCP

Though I love all of these albums, that's just the general ranking in terms of popularity and quality and also personal preference (let the die-hard loathe fans critique me) but since they're getting better with every album release they might just top it off again albeit in a very different way as you can definitely hear the change of their musical preferences in GES and REVENANT, in both songs they definitely have different production in contrast to prior albums it's more industrial and crunchy ESPECIALLY revenant but GES is is insane I can hear jazz/bluesy influences and obviously metalcore with indie? I know it falls more into the category of shoegaze, but it felt like I was listening to just a straight indie song, specifically in the mid section with the pray to the moonlight part, etc. Mabye, it's more shoegaze. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that song had sooo many genre influences and has to be their most ambitious song imo, and this sounds like irrelevant info but their guest artists have Jordan rakei and Mansur brown and both of them are just straight up soul/jazz and they have static dress too but I digress it seems as if this album is probably going to be experimental but still very good and mabye even top ILIIAITE considering just the streak they're going with and how much time and thought they're putting into this album I trust the process and I bet they're cooking up a masterpiece but I want to know everybody else's opinions and expectations as well (and before I get down voted into hell the cold sun is also a masterpiece I just like ILIIAITE more🤷‍♂️)
