I really hope we do get some sick ambience in ASTY like in their previous albums

While I undoubtedly listen a lot to their heavy stuff, I’m personally also a big fan of what they put out purely instrumentally. Tracks like 451 days and theme on ILIIAITE made the vibe of the album so well done and I really appreciate them. I also think that the instrumental album they put out (The Things They Believe) is so undertalked and -appreciated compared to the rest of their works, it’s such good music for when you’re reading or need to focus on studies.

Connection to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?

I was watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and saw this logo, and immediately went over to check if I was tripping. Is it not the same as the sun logo for this new album cycle, thats their pfp and on the album itself? Same structure, pattern, and 16 rays on each. What do you guys think?

How will ASTY influence the scene?

Title says it all really, but now that we’ve had a few pretty varied singles, what’s your predictions on where metal/alt etc will go after this? We’ve seen how I Let It In changed things, will this album have the effect? Or have Loathe aimed for something so unique to them that everyone else will stay in their lane?

So, for the people who have heard the album early would y’all say is kinda of a Kid A situation? Like, this album is exploring a different sound than their previous one but at its core still having the band’s essence plus some songs that remind of their previous record but in a “mature” way?

Suggestions on where to stay for the Liverpool show on the 17th?

I have a ticket but now i'm looking at hotels and jesus christ all the hotels are £600+ for two nights (i'd have to get there thursday and leave saturday). I dunno if there is something else going on that weekend. Is there anywhere nearby it is better to stay?

Is this an official merch shirt ? Absolutely love the design and it doesn’t really matter if it isn’t. Screaming is quite literally my favorite song, and the lyrics are from my favorite part of the song. Mostly asking out of curiosity. Gonna absolutely attempt to have it signed at one of their shows ! Thoughts on ‘The Things They Believe’?

I’m fairly new to this server(? Sorry if it’s not called that I don’t use reddit often), and I don’t believe I’ve seen much discussion on this record. New single thoughts "fangs"

I honestly couldn’t get through it. I love loathe, especially the first album, the ambient album and of course ILIAITE. These new songs imo have felt overcompressed and utterly incohesive. What are other peoples thoughts? Similar thing happened to this band Gaerea I really liked.
