Washed Colombia Gesha from Color

Over the past year and a half since diving into this hobby I’ve tried many great coffees, but I think I’ve found my favorite. Made a mind blowing cup this morning and last week and felt inspired to share about it here. It checks all the boxes for me— intense aroma, florals, and sweetness up front, complex acidity, medium chocolatey body, and smooth lingering finish with no astringency. I hope to keep getting that cup for the rest of the bag. I will probably buy more bags, which I’ve never done.

18g coffee : 300g water 90° (1/2 TWW)
Grind 5.0 on ZP6 (burr lock 0)
Hario switch 02 (open) w/ cafec abaca

Bloom 60g, center to spiral
@30s add 60g to reach 120g, center to spiral
@60s add 180g to reach 300g, pouring @10g/s in a ~1” circle, wiggle to flatten bed
~2:30 draw down
