Been getting back into online Smash, and after playing Bayonetta 1, I decided to try and get her to Elite Smash (this would be my first character up there, and I had zero experience with her prior to this past week). I can deal with most matchups okay. Honestly, I do just need to improve with her overall, because there are plenty of times I end up getting opponents to around 200% before I end up taking a stock with one of her moves that doesn't really kill to begin with. However, I have not won a single game against any Mario I have faced in my past week of play, where I have fluctuated between 2-10 mil GSP, and he is also far and away the character I have been matched up against the most.

I know some people consider it to be a 50/50 matchup, but it really doesn't feel like it. I find it super hard to effectively use most of her kit given Mario's height and her extreme frame data disadvantage. I can ledge guard fine with Bayo, but most of the time I can't even get these Mario players off stage long enough to do so. The only thing more obnoxious is the Link projectile spammers, but have probably matched all 3 Links combined less than Mario. Any suggestions? Bayo is super fun, probably top 3 for me after this past week, but this matchup is driving me insane.
