YouTube TV Local Channels Wrong

New customer of Ziply Fiber. Stream YouTube TV. Switch over to Ziply. The local TV channels are from another part of the state. If I connect back to Xfinity, the TV channels are correct.

Running a UniFi Dream Machine SE gateway/router/security appliance, with CAT6 from ONT to the UniFi device.

Why is this happening? I’ve swapped DNS IP’s multiple ways and I can’t my local channels on Ziply Fiber.

I’ve run out of ideas. Any thoughts?

New fiber install - What do you see?

Thought I would post an image of a recent fiber install at my residence. It seems to be sub-standard. This is not my area of expertise. This was a subcontractor who did the work.

  1. Hole in siding with no grommet or silicone sealant.
  2. No drip loop. The grommet at the bottom of the box is not fitted.
  3. Not sure why the electrical tape on the fiber side.
  4. Further down they have attached the fiber to the gutter with zip ties.
  5. The box is 30 inches or so off the ground. Indoors the ONT is so low to the floor I cannot slide the cover down to plugin a longer CAT6 cable.
