Hey Crawlers! I want to share that yesterday, Grim Oak Press finished shipping out pre-orders of A Parade of Horribles "POD" trade paperback featuring cover art by Luciano Fleitas. Matt signed 17 random copies when he came into the warehouse and they shipped. Haven't seen one pop up in the community yet, but hopefully people are checking their books.

Now on to a fun story that I want to share, one that shows how cool our fave author is. When Matt came into the Grim Oak/Signed Page warehouse to sign copies of A Parade of Horribles hardcover from that missing Fedex Freight pallet that was finally found, he was signing and we were chatting, as usual. We talked about the upcoming Comic-Con, and audiobooks, and writing Book #9, and all sorts of random shyte. One of the things I told him was that I had my eye on a DCC #1 comic book that my local comic book store had just featured on their Instagram page. Then, as we were chatting, I was told that someone had already purchased it. I was sad, but my heart went on.

When I told Matt about my inability to secure that comic book, he was just kind of quiet and he kept signing. Our conversation went elsewhere.

After he finished, we said our goodbyes and he left the warehouse. I went over to the Grim Oak side to chat with my best friend over there, and Matt came back in, vanishing into The Signed Page side of the warehouse. He yelled, "I put something on your keyboard."

I said THANK YOU as he left again -- frowning, because I had no idea what he possibly could have left me.

After chatting with my friend, I went back over to The Signed Page.

And there, on my keyboard, was the comic book in the image above, the one I'd been seeking at my local comic book shop.

I share this not to brag or something. I just want to show how fucking COOL Matt is. We are reading and supporting a man who has a huge heart. And I love that.

Grim Oak Press received 5500 copies of A Parade of Horribles TP Edition yesterday (these were produced to match the Print On Demand Amazon trade paperbacks for the previous volumes). We will receive the rest of our 11,000 copies today (10,000 copies + overages sent by the printer).

We've been prepping for two weeks, making boxes, pulling bubblewrap, getting ready emotionally. Ha. We are going to put in long hours, and try to get all pre-ordered copies shipped by June 23rd before some of our team leaves for vacation. Any orders not shipped by June 23rd will be shipped out by me and my Signed Page team, just at a slower rate because we will lose 2/3 of our gathered team for this release after that date.

For those of you ordered, you will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Please do not contact us asking when your order will ship: answering such a question just slows us down.

PS: The picture with gnome Thimblewick Inkwarden and the box is a 2-copy order being already shipped. Multiple-book orders will be shipped this way. Single-ordered copies will be shipped with a different type of box. Just an FYI.

After almost exactly a month of waiting for a missing pallet of A Parade of Horribles -- I had ordered three pallets worth of books, mind you -- FedEx Freight FINALLY found it and delivered it today. 1st printings, as they should be. I can't tell you how relieved I am. About 200 orderers were without their books and I can't tell you how much I HATED that. Not to mention some of the nasty emails I received. Made me sad.

Matt will be coming in this coming week to sign those books. And I'll be shipping them. If you are one of those people who have been waiting, thank you for your patience. I'll get you your order as quickly as I can. On these orders, several of you requested personalizations even though the 200 personalizations were sold out. I'll let Matt decide whether or not he will do that. Depends how busy he is but I always leave that up to the author.

If you took a refund but you want to order a signed book again because these are 1st printings, I'll be posting details about that after Matt signs. I should have some remaining copies as well as some Slightly Damaged copies that will go up for a discounted price too.

And if you still want a refund for your outstanding order, I'm more than happy to give it. Just respond to my email and I'll make it happen.

Time to go make dinner for my family. But WHEW, I had to get this news out as fast as I could!
