They look like, smell like and taste like dog food. What can I use them for?

Bought this huge bag of soy chunks not knowing they would be disappointing (to say the least). I use them in stir fries every once in a while when I have no other protein left to use, but I’m getting tired of it. To top it off, they take forever to rehydrate and the texture is rubbery. Please note that I have cooked with other brands of soy curls before and I really enjoyed them, which is why I thought buying this bag was a good idea in the first place.

Are there any other creative ways I can finish this bag? Or should I just cut my losses?

Vertical or horizontal snake bites?

I’ve been considering snake bites for a long time and I’m thinking of making the jump soon.

Would you recommend to get them pierced vertically (labret) or horizontally (like a lip ring)?

I’m trying to avoid damage to my teeth, gums and lips as much as possible considering this is still a mouth piercing. I know some people advise against getting them altogether.

I have a crooked lower canine that sticks out more than my other teeth and I’m worried a lip ring would rub against it. But I also have chronically chapped lips, plus I’ve heard that labret piercings are hard not to absentmindedly chew on.

Either way, I will ask my piercer for a professional opinion, but I thought it’d still be helpful to gather personal experiences and perspectives beforehand.
