what issue could it be that i cant find the hoggit training server? i do see growling sidewinder servers for example.

short rant: I'm from Germany and want to buy a new hotas.
*Virpil* summer sale: cool. 440 € for awesome flight stock and awesome throttle. no brainer imo. oh wait.. after contacting support i will have to accept a delivery time of 10-15weeks... unacceptable
*WinCtrl* summer sale: 312 € for full metal hotas. orion2 metal warthog.. looks awesome, everything available and ready to ship. but horror stories here and other subs about QC and lack of customer support.. no thanks. I want to buy once and know I'm good no matter what. so longevity / good customer support is important. also no QC lottery.
*VKB* no sale: i know they have quality products. shame vkb is not as good in terms of money for hotas because of VAT, so in the US vkb is a no brainer imo in the medium budget segment. gladiator NXT standard: 160 €, Omni throttle: 205 €, stecs mini plus: 277 €.
although reading good things about the stecs, I would like to know if the Omni throttle can compete in terms of quality and precise throttle control and if any here use IT in dcs for the F16/F18 and how AAR for example feels with the Omnithrottle. the fact it's 70 € cheaper would help me finally take the jump and order from vkb I guess, although I really wanted to have virpil gear for once.

so what's your verdict on the vkb Omni? or any other suggestions for my dilemma? probably I'm exaggerating but I'm just pissed about the wait times from Virpil I guess. although the fact that vkb has no sale right now and I'm paying the full price is not satisfying. :D

from what I've seen my only real other option in that budget / quality range would be stecs+gladiator NXT which would be significantly more expensive
pretty sure I'm beyond the part where I would be happy with twcs + t16000m. if you got any hints at what should I look at I'd be grateful.

I'm not sure how but some dcs videos sneaked up on my YouTube reels and here I am back to DCS.
My friends and I had a blast 2-3 years ago when we learned everything about the F18 and did our first own missions and reviewed them with tacview.
This time around i will try to master the F16 i guess and hope to find some good campaigns to download for multiplayer. any good source you can recommend? still waiting for dynamic campaign I see... Ed pls :(

Hardware: the Orion2 metal warthog is just 312 € right now and really tempting. guess I will start with my t16000m hotas setup for now and if we stick gaming I will pull the trigger next black friday.

VR vs Ultrawide (35") with webcam and open track
I was pleasantly surprised to find my open track settings were still there. honestly it works perfectly with neuralnet tracker and a cheap webcam I bought from Amazon years ago and everything looks nice on my wqhd ultrawide
BUT.. there is just something magic about VR especially in flight sims. I had a quest one back than and already found it awesome, although image was really not sharp and fps was horrendous in multiplayer
my system: 32gb ram ddr4, 12600kf and Radeon 6700xt
my plan: buy a used Pico for 175 EUR
my biggest problem with the oculus was (after performance) it's bulkiness and heat generation. the pico looks really sleek and lightweight. for 175 it's tempting to try it out.. I heard even pico connect is good nowadays and virtual desktop is not needed.
anyone enjoying DCS VR on a 6700xt? I'm perfectly fine with 45fps asw on.. if that's possible in multiplayer even.
