I used my computer nerd skills to set up some alerts when they went back in-stock at a few different sites.
Ten minutes. Magshack had them in-stock for all of ten minutes. They're selling hotter than concert tickets!
Will preface this by saying this is my first optic for a handgun, so I'm learning as I go.
I bought a new Shield Plus Optics Ready version recently, and an Osight SE to go with it. The SE supports the Shield RMSc standard, and can mount directly to the gun.
When fitting the optic, it seats onto the posts 99% of the way... but there is a hairline gap remaining. When inspecting the posts, one of them looks like it is marred or chipped a little (see pictures). I'm trying to figure out if this is within tolerances for an optic, or if it's worth sending the gun back to S&W for repairs.
When seating the Osight onto a Glock G43X, it sits flush (though the 43x I have uses a different 2-post design rather than the RMSc's 4 posts).
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!
