My first attempt at injera

I think the heat was too high AND I couldn’t figure out how to get such a thin layer on the injera cooker.

My mother in law left her injera cooker at my house & it’s easy for my husband to find injera, but I can never eat it because I need 100% teff.

My husband says this looks like አነባበሮ

Please help! If you use the electric cooker, what temp do you use? Do you put the top on it to steam the injera? (I did use the top)

Womp womp…driver stole my food

I’m disabled and don’t have a car. I was waiting on a grocery order, but got too hungry, so I ordered food from a nearby place. It’s 1.2 miles away & literally 3 lights.

Because all types of deliveries never make it into my condo complex, but the apartments next door, I always have the handoff option.

I tracked my order, which was going to be late anyways, went downstairs (a pain), and opened the door to wait. The car drove within the complex & said it was delivered. I texted the driver how to get to my door before, so there was no confusion. Got a reply. I also have it in the instructions.

There was a confirmation photo of the inside of a food insulation bag. I was really hungry! I still am, but now I have to cook too & after going up & down the stairs. (I just waited on my stairs for the grocery delivery, so I wouldn’t have to move so much.)
