Anyone else a picky collector? I find myself picking up lots at the beach but returning the next day over the slightest imperfections!

What is your dream shell to find or that you wish you could find more of? This is my biggest horse conch find and they are my favorite shell ever. I wish I could find one bigger! The junonia is from a man getting rid of his late wife’s collection, I hope one day to find my own!

What is your favorite way to display your shells? I love my shell display on my mantle and am always trying to keep my best in my little turtle for viewing! 🐚

Our Ranger (5 1/2) has had 4 seizures over the past 2 years. Usually about 6 months apart and very short in duration. Yesterday he had a series of cluster seizures with a possible grand mal seizure being the trigger. We took him to the emergency vet and they gave him a dose of keppra, a 14 day supply of phenobarbital, and an emergency dose of midazolam. From my research beagles are prone to epilepsy but I am looking for your experiences on treatment and medication. I say this with great love for him but we also have two children and financially not going to pour thousands into neurologist and such. We are fine with the medication management route but I am just looking for similar stories.

Spent the past week and a half shelling from Pass-A-Grille to Sanibel (which was the most disappointing) just a few more days until we head home. Excited to work on getting all these cleaned up!
