Wordpress plugins how to send users to the markeptlace?

Hi

I have created a plugin recently and i only have a url to send users to the marketplace of the wordpress outside the store. This is all good but there the users can only download the plugin.

How can i create a link to send users directly to the store inside the wordpress? I wanted to run some search ads for it because i believe is a good product that brings real value but I can't send users to the normal marketplace outside their store, i want to send them right to the install path.

How you solve this? I see one solution is asking for the store domain so i craft a url with the path, but this is super flacky.

Thank you

I built a plugin to fix ugly/broken WooCommerce social preview images on WhatsApp & social media — just launched a Free tier! [PROMOTION]

Direct messaging (WhatsApp, iMessage, DMs) accounts for a massive chunk of social e-commerce traffic today. Yet most store owners ignore how their links look when shared.

When a customer or affiliate shares a product link, a poorly cropped featured image or a broken preview makes the brand look amateur and destroys your Click-Through Rate (CTR).

To solve this, I created FastOG, a WooCommerce plugin that automatically turns every product link into a branded, high-converting social preview card.

We’ve just launched our Free Tier for store owners:

  • Instant Setup: Install the plugin, and your links instantly generate optimized 1200x630 preview cards when shared.
  • Zero Host Impact: Cards are rendered off-site on our cloud API, keeping your site speed fast.
  • Free Forever: Free users get automated social cards across their catalog (with a small ⚡ FastOG.com watermark).

If you do any dark social marketing, SMS marketing, or peer-to-peer sharing, having clean social cards is a dead-simple way to lift CTR without spending more on ads.

Why offloading dynamic social card generation is a game-changer for WooCommerce performance [PROMOTION]

Hey everyone,

If you’ve managed WooCommerce stores with decent traffic, you’ve probably run into the classic social sharing issue: product links shared on WhatsApp, iMessage, or Twitter/X either pick up random featured images, look cropped, or fail to pull open graph tags altogether.

Most store owners default to heavy SEO suites like Yoast or RankMath for OG tags. While they get the basic metadata done, there are two major friction points when it comes to e-commerce:

  1. Server Overhead: Generating dynamic open graph image previews on-the-fly using local PHP libraries (GD/Imagick) hits server memory hard—especially during high-traffic spikes or sales campaigns when multiple links are being shared at once.
  2. Static & Generic Visuals: Traditional SEO plugins usually just pass the flat featured image without dynamic overlays like prices, branding, or custom layout styling tailored for conversions.

I've been working on an alternative approach focused purely on performance: offloaded dynamic card rendering.

Instead of forcing the client’s WordPress server to process, crop, and render heavy preview graphics internally, the image processing happens externally via an API. The WordPress site simply outputs a lightweight reference tag.

Here is a quick breakdown of how the architectures compare:

Feature Traditional SEO Plugins (Yoast/RankMath) FastOG (Offloaded Approach)
Server Load High (Internal PHP/Imagick rendering) Zero (Rendered offsite via API)
Design Control Static / Basic featured image Dynamic (Custom layouts, price tags, branding)
Editor None / Metadata fields only Dedicated visual canvas (FastOG Studio)
Scope General SEO suite 100% Focused on high-converting social previews

For anyone trying to optimize WooCommerce TTFB (Time to First Byte) and lower server resource consumption while keeping WhatsApp/social previews looking sharp, moving image generation off the main server makes a massive difference.

We built a free plugin on WordPress.org called FastOG to test this exact architecture.

Would love to hear how you guys currently handle link previews for client stores or if you’ve noticed server hits from internal image generation plugins

Plugin that creates social cover images for link share preview

I creates a API that can generate social cover images on the fly up to date and customizable.

The ideas was to generate all the users public links for when some players of a game i made share their profile on social media the image the preview would be personalized with names, levels, branding of the game and so on.

But now i'm thinking of bringing this to the eCommerce space as there is nothing like it, every product link can have a preview with product, price, discounts, rating, review count and more. Always up to date, automatic and you can customize the look and what you want to show.

Would you guys like something like this? I can share some examples and even show how your links can look like if you share a product.

Appreciate all the feedback

Is there a way to fix cropped product preview images when sharing store links on WhatsApp?

Hey everyone,

I'm helping optimize a WooCommerce catalog where links are shared heavily through WhatsApp and Facebook DMs.

Whenever a product link is shared, the default Open Graph preview crops the product photo awkwardly, and it doesn't show any price or stock info directly on the card preview.

Is there a native setting or standard Open Graph hook in WooCommerce to force custom 1200x630 layout cards for shared links, or how are you guys handling product link previews when sharing directly with customers?

Would love to hear how other store owners handle this limitation.
