...Just know that this is how your current franchise fans see you. You don't really matter to them despite being the second highest scorer and actually making valuable contributions in most, if not all wins.

They don't want you as a captain. Just want you to be the "face" that makes their little cult franchise relevant after years of irrelevancy. They believe they are entitled to you because the franchise "invested" in you for years. You know, like the typical Indian parent who sees their children as extension of themselves and want them to succeed because of all the money they had put in their education. Yes, exactly like that.

You clearly aren't seen as a serious captaincy candidate both by the coach and by the captain. You are just the golden goose whose face brings in the views and puts that franchise on the IPL map. Here we all know that's not what you want. And that's why you confided in your Yuvi Pa regarding the same which these lot were quick to dismiss as "bitterness".

But if you're having second thoughts on leaving, just know that there are many fans of that franchise like this one who wouldn't have two fvcks to give if you leave them because they are proudly tEAm fiRSt.

So go where you will be wanted. Go where you will be cherished. Go where your contributions and loyalty will actually be valued, where you won't be the guy they got but didn't actually wanted...where you won't be the second fiddle.

I wonder...does he also lurks other subs. And by "other subs" I mean his franchise's subs? I wonder if he sees the posts that's been made by them- esp the ones against him or the ones declaring someone else the next SRH captain or the poster boy.

This radio silence isn't normal. Especially after his team qualified for the playoffs. There's something very very off about all this which only his fans are noticing while everyone else are high on wins.

He went to the French Embassy right after landing in Delhi post the WC Final. Now, no one really thought much on it back then probably but I randomly remembered this and started wondering...what could it have been about?

I have one theory: He might be going for the Paris Fashion Week happening from June 23rd-28th this year. PFW happens almost round the year but this is that one window where he will be free from his cricket commitments (yes I checked).

But I would also love to know what everyone else thinks here. Personally, I would love for my theory to be true because cricketers, especially Indian cricketers almost never get invited to these glamorous events so I think this would be a great opportunity for networking and possible brand Collabs. 👀
