Is there a way to use HIDdriver without dashlaunch on BadUpdate? I don't have dashlaunch and read some thing about being able to brick the console in it so I'd rather just avoid it entirely if there's a way to manually trigger HIDdriver.xex to run via Aurora or something.
Want to see if I can use my PS3/4 fightstick on Xbox 360. If I can do it for free via HIDdriver then that's great. I'm risk-averse so I'm fine manually running it anytime I need if so. I tried manually running the XEX file but yeah, that doesn't work of course.
Edit: I think I've found a way. I used X360PluginManager. It's exactly what I wanted.

Download it. Put it anywhere on your BadUpdate USB, or internal HDD, or wherever on the machine. Read the Github to know how to adjust the config.ini file for where you're placing the plugins folder you're going to make for this. Download HIDdriver too.
So for myself, I created a folder called X360PluginManager on my BadUpdate USB. Inside that I made a "Plugins" folder. I put the HIDdriver.xex in there. In the config.ini I put:
[plugins_directory]
path = usb:\X360PluginManager\Plugins\
And then boot up X360PluginManager.xex from within that folder on your 360 once you've triggered badupdate (add it to Aurora or whatever, if you want). Start it, select the plugins you want to run, hit apply in the app. Exit to the Xbox dashboard (you lose the ability to quick-exit back to Aurora while it's on for some reason, or at least I do). Plug in the controller you want to use and for me it would take 10-25 seconds for it to get recognized for some reason. I tried a Switch Pro controller and my MayFlash F300 (with a PS3 connected to the F300) and they both worked.
