Hi everyone i moved here and really excited to do some cooking. Ive already acquired some kitchen ware but looking to find a few more things that would help me out a lot.
- aluminum metal baking sheet (1/2 size?)
- small kitchen scale
- pitcher (with lid) for my tea brew, bonus if it has an infuser. Or French press?
Day 4. Color looks pretty good after putting them at the windowsill in indirect light today. Didnt know what a proper tablespoon is so i will add more seeds next time. Does this look right on time for maximum sulforaphane? Or should it be harvested a little earlier? Or later?
I just want to be able to microwave my dinners

Hi I'm a 29m Asian from California. I just moved to SE Portland a few weeks ago.
Some things about me:
I like thrifting and 2nd hand goods. I'm somewhat into fashion in the sense that I dress how I like, and usually that is different shades between black and white. I also like sewing - right now I'm mainly altering clothes and going to make some (tote) bags. Super down to make friends who're also into making cool stuff. I like eating all kinds of foods and drinking milk tea and matcha. I like the stronger tea flavors and aromas. Ive also been hearing about a lot of SE Asian restaurants in Portland like Thai/Indonesian/Laos, looking forward to trying some of them. Im excited to explore Portland this summer, going to markets, even walking around, window shopping. I like the outdoors and traveling when I can; last year I went on a road trip to most of the national parks west of the Rockies and did a shit ton of hiking/backpacking. What I love most are beautiful views regardless of the trail difficulty, tho a lot of the hikes Ive done end up being moderate to hard. My main form of exercise is running so I can get back into shape and hopefully do some hikes this season. I also like watching anime from time to time. My music includes rnb/soul/alternative/indie sometimes but I mostly listen to shoegaze. Although I have lots of different interests I wouldn't define myself by any one of them. I enjoy connecting with people, having real conversations exchanging real thoughts and always challenging myself to think critically.
